Melissa also offer one-one-one lessons to anyone who is wondering how to make sense of all the stuff in their makeup bag. We get together to look at what you have, and I suggest any supplemental products as well as create a few custom looks for you using your own makeup.

DO I REALLY NEED MY HAIR & MAKEUP PROFESSIONALLY DONE?
You're hiring professionals for your pictures, cake and other services. Why add one more stress to your day by doing it yourself? You'll look back on your pictures, and you'll want to make sure your hair and makeup looks flawless and timeless. A hair stylist and makeup artist helps not only ensure that your hair and makeup will last all day and night, but that it will photograph well, too.
WHERE DO YOU TRAVEL?
We travel to anywhere! Let us come to you! We are happy to travel to your getting-ready location in Kansas City, , Northwest Missouri, Northeast Kansas and more.
Our team is located throughout the area. Travel fees apply from the artist/stylists's home.
We also have a quaint studio in the Weston/Platte City/Dearborn area available for wedding parties to get ready in, if your venue is unavailable.
DO YOU CHARGE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?
It depends. With bridal parties larger than six, we bring an assistant or two to ensure a timely, stress-free experience for all. Additionally, we do have a travel fee to come on-location. There may be other fees that apply, including a minimum during peak season dates (April-October).
HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT EACH APPLICATION TO TAKE?
Generally, I plan for at least 45 minutes for hair or makeup services. If there is a lot more technique involved (ie: hair extensions added, blowouts, lashes applied, very glamorous eye look), please plan for at least an hour per person.
DO I NEED TO DO A PREVIEW CONSULTATION?
Yes, this is a requirement. This allows us to get to know one another, and we learn more about your vision, style, hair color, current makeup routine, and more. Bring ideas of makeup you like with along with a photo of you with makeup on from a special occasion. Please take into consideration weddings are on the weekends, and therefore, we do not conduct previews on the weekends unless it is during the off season.
WHAT OTHER DETAILS DO I NEED TO KNOW?
A $300 non-refundable retainer and complete contract are required to reserve your date.
Changes to the contract can be made up to 90 days before the wedding day without extra charges. Your retainer is still non-refundable. If changes are made after 90 days, the full amount of the original contract will be due.
There is a minimum to be met during peak wedding season dates, April through October on Saturdays.
All other policies are outlined in the formal contract.

Brides who are ready to book with me can simply fill out the contact form below with details of your wedding date, location and how many are in your wedding party. From there, we will send you an email back with a few more questions and/or contract to review.
